Jürgen Mohrhauer is a highly experienced Chemical Expert with more than 35 years of practice in chemical production, strategic planning, sales & marketing, business-management and -finance and an experienced Senior Consultant and Advisor to the chemical and related Industries.

Before founding JM Chemsult and working as Senior Consultant and Managing Director, he acted as an independent senior advisor to the chemical industry and project manager to third-party funded projects, gaining additional expertise on channel-to-market strategies and M+A.

 A practitioner in many aspects of chemical manufacturing, strategic planning and evaluation, business set-up and development, project management and business finance, including significant JV experience, he is aware of the different needs and approaches of several types of operations internationally.

Jürgen graduated from the Technical University of Dortmund (DE) with a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering (Ms Sc, Dipl-Ing. TU) in 1987, having specialized in Mechanical and Thermal Process Technology and in “Construction and Operation of Chemical Production Units”.

During his hands-on operations responsibilities he visited extra-occupational lectures on “Economics for Engineers” at the University of Hagen (Fernuniversität, DE) for further qualification in management roles. He has sucessfully attended courses with VDI, GDCh, MCE, ECMSA and KPMG for professional advancement, as well as several development-practises for soft-, people- and management-skills. He is an IPMA-Certified Project Manager, fluent in English and German and works internationally out of  Zürich / Switzerland.
